DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

In 2018, Marsh has partnered with the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) to offer a robust suite of thought-leadership, networking events, and educational programming opportunities, all geared toward leading the discussion on diversity and inclusion within the risk management profession. Learn more about this first-of-its-kind partnership.

As the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, our commitment to diversity is critical for attracting talented people, serving clients, and generating creative business solutions.

We are working together, along with our sister companies, to embed diversity as a key part of our business strategy. As such, Marsh is dedicated to finding innovative ways to strengthen our ability to recruit, retain, and support a diversity of culture globally. We seek to provide a workplace where colleagues feel valued and are embraced for their differences, uniqueness, and individuality.

Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) help make big companies like ours feel smaller. Our resource groups provide more than support and a bigger voice. They have become potent professional development networks, connecting colleagues to opportunities for our company and themselves.

PRIDE

Marsh Pride is the CRG for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Ally colleagues at Marsh and MMC.  Marsh Pride was founded in 2008 as part of an employee-lead initiative to empower and support fellow LGBT+ colleagues.

Women’s Exchange

Marsh’s Women’s Exchange is inspiring women to achieve remarkable results by encouraging diversity, providing development opportunities, creating business value, engaging with partners and stakeholders, and participating in outreach and CSR efforts.

Young Professionals

Marsh’s Young Professionals CRG is comprised of up-and-coming leaders in our business: diverse, disruptive, connected. These resource groups represent the future to today’s leadership, while building high-value relationships with peers worldwide.

African Heritage

Marsh’s African Heritage CRG led the way in instituting training on unconscious bias in our workplace. Outside the company, the African Heritage networks focus on education, health, and connecting people of color to opportunities in professional services.

Asian

Marsh’s Asian CRG endeavors to promote and cultivate learning leaders through mentorship and other professional enrichment activities, to generate business opportunities through its unique insights and networks in the Asian market, to collaborate with others through community outreach, and to provide a forum for interaction and growth of colleague engagement while celebrating the Asian heritage.

HOLA

Marsh’s Hispanic Organization of Leaders CRG aims to help Marsh be the workplace of choice for Latinx professionals. Our goal is to enhance business performance at Marsh by leveraging and supporting Latinx colleagues, contributing to their professional development while promoting an inclusive culture within the firm.

FAM

Marsh’s Families at Marsh CRG aims to foster a partnership between families and Marsh to navigate the challenges of achieving healthy work/life integration.
